Baye Fall
by Khadim Ghetto Eden, MAD A ROAD
"Baye Fall" is the tenth official song in the "Happy Dancehall Riddim" collection, produced by Morello Selecta for Yah Man Records. The Mad a Road production crew relies this time on the unmistakable voice of Khadim, a Salento artist of Senegalese origin and frontman, together with Flavio, of the group "Ghetto Eden", famous for their fiery performances in dancehalls across Italy. A singer with explosive vocal potential and a unique style, forged over the years and capable of always maintaining a precise identity, Khadim uses the Salento dialect to address current issues, influenced by the traditional African music of the Senegalese community, one of the largest in Italy. "Baye Fall", a term that recalls the religious movement founded by Cheikh Ibrahima Fall, is rooted in concepts such as work, a founding characteristic of the religion itself, distancing from materiality, and the discovery of oneself to get closer to God. It is precisely within the track that the set of principles with which the artist faces his life every day emerges, pushing the musical movement active for years in Salento, based on values such as honesty, equality, the fight for rights, and love for others. The lyrics of the song are inextricably linked to the rhythmic connotation, creating a symposium full of positive energy and good wishes for the future as free citizens in a free world. "Baye Fall" available on all digital platforms from February 18, 2025.
