"Soundboy" is the first official single by Verso Badem, a Salento deejay with a powerful voice, eccentric rhymes and refined metrics, in line with Hardcore Dancehall, a musical genre to which he was attracted from an early age. His edgy, genuine and censorship-free style immediately attracted the attention of the "Mad a Road" production team and the Yah Man Records label, who decided to produce the singer on "Happy Dancehall Riddim". The collection also includes the song "Dream Come True" by Double X, founding member of the historic Jamaican group T.O.K. "Soundboy" is a song full of double meanings and allegories, with shades of meaning in a speech that begins and ends within the track. A clear reference to those who want to play music on the street, among people, far from the logic of social networks and the influences of the media.
